I am healing.
When I do this I disappear
deep inside.
Travel into dark tunnels
of my many selves.
Inundated emotion.
Untidy truth that calls.
I am healing.
Repairing, reworking, generating
cells and focus and feeling.
Creating what my body needs:
relaxation, nurturing to open.
What my heart wants:
kindness, safe-holding.
What my mind can help create:
curious, respectful, inner listening.
The Mechanics of Healing.
I consistently remind myself
healing takes time
cocooning is often necessary:
cave of guidance
deep within
safe and warm
and to surround myself with
good things:
reverent inspiration
gentle, heartfelt attention.
It is okay to hurt.
We all hurt.
Have all hurt before.
We have this in common.
And on the other side…
through
fear and pain
expressing my truth
through
allowing
forgiving
releasing
through
the hurt —
I find love
for myself.
I am healing.
Peaceful in me budding.
Wisdom gained through
the honesty of hurting
